Anthropic's Word skill creates and edits docx files, including headings, tables, comments, and tracked changes. It works on the file, not on Google Docs or a shared drive, unless you move the file there yourself.

The skill triggers on Word documents and templates, including reports, memos, and letters when the deliverable is a docx. New files are built with the docx library. Existing files are edited as Office XML because that library cannot open them. Reading uses pandoc. The instructions cover tables of contents, images, find and replace, comments, and tracked changes.
The license is Anthropic's source-available terms, the same family as the other document skills. Anthropic says these skills power Claude's document features and may behave differently inside the product than the GitHub copy.
