Freshworks' help article, updated in October 2026, says the MCP integration became generally available on September 10, 2026. The endpoint is https://<your-domain>.freshdesk.com/mcp and the documented sign-in is an API key in the Authorization header. OAuth is not supported for this Freshdesk server, according to Freshworks' security article.
The article lists tools for tickets and conversations, contacts, agents, groups, companies, and solution articles, including create and update calls. Plan allowances differ. You need a Freshdesk account, so the cost label is paid account. Creates and updates are why the risk is high.
