Intercom's hosted server lets an agent search and fetch conversations and contacts in a US workspace. The repository documents six tools, all of them for finding and reading, using OAuth or a bearer token.
“Search open email conversations that mention refunds and summarize the five newest. Include the Intercom link. Do not reply.”
Intercom's README says the server is only supported for US-hosted workspaces. The recommended URL is https://mcp.intercom.com/mcp. A legacy SSE URL is deprecated. Authentication is OAuth or a bearer token.
Search can target conversations or contacts, including field filters. Fetch returns the full record and a link into Intercom. The GitHub repo has no SPDX license in GitHub's metadata. You need an Intercom workspace, so the cost label is paid account. Risk is medium because the data is customer conversations, while the published tools do not send replies.
